Make pivot table with multiple "data" fields in columns not rows?
I am trying to summarize several calculations using a pivot table. When I
dump the information I want to summarize in the "data" section of the pivot table, I can't get it to line up in columns. I have only been successful in getting it in rows. Is it possible to have multiple "data" items but summarize it in columns and not rows? Example Column information Data information Data Information Data information Item A Sum of Inventory Sum of Goods Sold Sum of On Order Thanks! |

cdomby,
You can usually drag the group headings from the left column to someplace across the top, and that group will be summarized in a column instead of a row. This is why they call it a pivot table.
