Unwanted shading of entire spreadsheet
I just opened up a spreadsheet that I was using yesterday and now today the
whole sheet is shaded gray and I don't seem to be able to change it. My header row is shaded the light shade of gray that I normally use except for one cell. That one cell is the same darker gray that the rest of the sheet is. Last time I worked on it only the header row was a light gray and the data cells were not shaded at all. I have tried highlighting the entire spreadsheet and selecting 'no fill' but all that does is take the fill out of all but one of the cells in the header row. The single cell in the header row and the rest of the sheet says a dark gray. I've tried other color fills also, including white, to no avail. The only change is in the header row. Is this weird or something I don't know about? Thanks, -- Kaye |

Did you try selecting the cells and the menu Edit, Clear and Formats?

I hadn't tried that, but just did and all that did is remove the lines. Any
other ideas? -- Kaye "Richard" wrote: Did you try selecting the cells and the menu Edit, Clear and Formats?
