Can't see cell information in excel but it is in the formula bar
 

I can't see cell information in excel but it is in the formula bar, can you
tell me what happened? How to fix it?
Any help would be much appreciated.

Make sure your font colour is set to black

Make sure that the color of the font is not the same as the background color.

One other option....

If the cell has a custom number format of ;;;
you'd have the same symtoms.

If that's the case, just change the number format to whatever is reasonable.
<format<cells<number tab
select a format

Thank you for the reply. I had already checked the font color of text and
the cell color, they were fine. I tried to unwrap the text and it showed up,
but I had to resave and it still was acting up, then I figured out it was my
dual monitor settings. It now works! I am not sure why it did that or how
the dual monitor affected it.
