Text not displaying completely

Dear experts,
I am trying to input text in a merged and wrapped cell in Excel. The cell is
A8, merged with B8, C8 and D8. I can see the whole text when I go onto the
formula bar, but not in the cell, not even in the print preview. What is odd
is that when I increase the colum size to the right, then I see the rest of
the text appearing. I thought it was a problem with the number of returns,
but I have tried adding more empty text lines to the cell and they display
correcly...

What is the problem there?
Thank you very much in advance.
best regards,
Valeria

Do you use multiple monitors?

You may want to search google looking for posts like yours.

This found 6 hits:
http://groups.google.co.uk/groups?as...roup= *excel*

And this found some more, too:
http://groups.google.co.uk/groups?as...roup=* excel*

Hi,
thank you, no, I am not using multiple monitors, just my laptop's. I had
noticed that there seems to be an issue with multiple montiors, but
unfortunately it is not my case...
I have checked the links but all solutions are linked to the use of dual
monitors. Do you have any other ideas on what the cause might be?
Thanks!
Best regards

I misread your original post. I thought you were seeing none of the text in
that cell.

But since you're text is just fading off after a few lines in that cell...

Try adding alt-enters (to force new lines within the cell) every 80-100
characters. You should be able to see lots more characters.
