Thanks I now I know how to do this but even by adding my picture to a comment
box there still is that little triange in the corner. How do you get rid of it? Thanks for your reply!!! The red indicator indicates that there is a comment in that cell.
You can use: tools|Options|View tab|Comment section to hide the comment, to show the indicator only (the comment will appear when you mouse over the cell) or to show both the indicator and the comment. You'll notice that there isn't an option to hide the comment indicator, but still allow the comment to appear. oxicottin wrote: Thanks I now I know how to do this but even by adding my picture to a comment box there still is that little triange in the corner. Sorry, a little too quick on the Post button. How does Microsoft do the
little info box on their canned templates? Are they not comments? There are no red triangles in those fields. Thanks. Are there green triangles on the left side?
Maybe you're seeing the error/warning messages from Tools|Options|Error Checking. drmikec wrote: Sorry, a little too quick on the Post button. Those are most likely Data Validation messages.
Select a cell with the pop-up and check for DV. Gord Dibben MS Excel MVP On Wed, 30 May 2007 19:26:01 -0700, drmikec wrote: Sorry, a little too quick on the Post button. You nailed it, Gord! Thanks. It's been bugging me for a while. Now I can
get rid of all those clunky comments when I just want to add instructions for a field! Best regards, Mike "Gord Dibben" wrote: Those are most likely Data Validation messages.
