Combo Box Data
I have created a spreadsheet that would allow users to select for a list
(ComboBox from Forms Toolbar). I want to be able to take the data in the field (ComboBox) and use it in a formula (COUNTIF(A2:A98,I2)) where I2 is a vendor name. If I enter the data into Cell A2 manually the formula works. If I add the combo Box it does not. How do I capture the data from the Combo Box to use in the formula? Any help is appreciated. -- Brooks W. |

You can set the Linked Cell property to a cell like A2 and then use that in
the formula, it will populate with the combobox selection. -- -- -John Please rate when your question is answered to help us and others know what is helpful. "Brooks W." wrote in message ... Now see, thats what I thought as well. So I entered the linked cell as A2
(shows as $A$2) and a couple more to be sure, and the formula still does not work. As a count I get 0 when I see 3 items listed that match the criteria. -- Brooks W.
