Dates in a coulmn??

I know how to put a date in a column and drag along the corner of the first
box to make subsequnt dates appear in the following boxes. But how do I get
it to show only one day per week? I want to do a meeting schedule for the
entire year. I typed Jan. 4, a Thursday, into the first box and would like
Jan 11, Jan 18, etc appear in the subsequent boxes for the entire year. How
do I make it happen?

Thanks for the help.

Type 1/4 in forst cell, 1/11 in the 2nd, 1/18 in the 3rd, then do the
pull-down. It will recognize the pattern.

Thanks. I also tried the following formula in the first cell number (=A3+7)
and dragged it down and it worked. Thanks again.

Another way:
Enter date and drag down fill handle using *right* mouse button.

Click on "Series" option at bottom of list.

Set "step value" to 7, then <OK.
