How do I calculate year vs. year sales in a percentage?

For example.

Fiscal year 06 sales of 1000
fiscal year 07 sales 1200
07 vs 06 sales are up x%

How do I calculate year vs. year sales in a percentage?

06 sales in A1, 07 sales in A2
For x, use the formula =(A2/A1)-1 and format as percentage.
Other options include =(A2-A1)/A1.
If you want to use the percentage value as a number in its own right in
further calculations (the number 20 in your case), then multiply the result
by 100.
