Regression in Excel

Hi - having just taught a MOS Excel Expert 2003 class - a student asked me
about Regression in the Analysis Toolkit - I must say I was flabbergasted!!!
The help menu is not great at explaining it either and I think there is a
question on this in the forthcoming exam. I cannot find anything about it in
the MOS text book either. Could anyone possible let me know where I could
get a very simple explanation of what this is and how I would use it - maybe
a simple example exercises.

Many thanks
