Read Only Worksheets
 

Hi,

I was wondering if it is possible to make individual worsheets (tabs) read
only. For example, instead of making an entire excel spreadsheet read only,
you could make an individual tab in a spreadsheet read only, but leave the
rest alone? Thanks!

You can lock all the cells on a worksheet (the usual default) and then protect
the worksheet--but this worksheet protection is easily broken.

To lock cells:
select the cells
format|cells|Protection tab|check locked

To protect the sheet:
tools|protection|protect sheet

Give it a memorable password (even though it can be broken).
