Ostensibly, PVIF can be computed by: =(1 + intRate) ^ (1/n) where "intRate" is the compound annual rate, and "n" is the number of compounding periods per year. Alternatively: =rate(n, 0, -1, 1+intRate) But RATE() does not always succeed without the "guess" argument (sigh). |
