Please help me with a few questions.
How can I enter text in two cells at the same time? How can I duplicate a spread sheet multiple times below the original while keeping the formatting and functions in tact? How do I protect my work sheet format and functions so they cannot be accidentally changed? How do I clear contents only without affecting functions or formatting? Thanks, Adrian QES |

To answer each of your questions:
1) You can't. 2) Save the spreadsheet with a new name. 3) You can use Excel's built-in security features (Tools--Protection) however be aware that these security tools are rather easily circumvented. 4) To clear non-formula data ("constants") go to Edit--Goto--Special--Constants and click OK, then hit delete. Of course try this on a backup copy of your workbook before you do it for real. Dave -- Brevity is the soul of wit. "Adrian QES" wrote: Please help me with a few questions. as for entering text in two cells at the same time, enter the address of one
cell in the other, for example if you put =a1 in cell a2, then whatever you enter in a1 will show up in a2, so you won't have to enter it twice.
