Slow Calculations with No Data
I have a user with a 40 MG spreadsheet with lots of calculations. At the end
of the year, I clean out the data for her and she starts with a clean slate. She is complaining that even though there is no data to calculate anymore, it is taking 5 minutes to calculate when she is saving. She and I remember this problem last year and somebody (who is no longer here) did something to "compress" the data. Any idea what that could have been? Thank you |

Another possibility... if you are deleting all old data, delete the cells,
rows, columns using Edit/Delete, then go to cell A1 of your spreadsheet and save. This will shrink your worksheet to fit the existing data...
