Does anyone know if it is possible to create an IF statement longer than a
string of 7 arguements, if so how?

IF STATEMENT
 

It's not possible to nest more than 7 IF statements, but there are
workarounds. One can be found at http://www.cpearson.com/excel/nested.htm
