How can I keep sheet tabs visible when I use split pane function?

I have the tools, options, show tabs selected but whren I freeze panes in
excell, the tabs disappear. I want them to remain visible. Need help!

The sheet tabs are there in the left side of the split screen.

Select a cell in the middle of the window and WindowSplit.

A truncated set of the sheet tabs are visible at lower left.

If you move the split to the left you will see fewer or no sheet tabs.

What are you attempting to achieve?

You may do better using WindowNew Window and Arrange to get two views, each
with sheet tabs.
