making a sound when autocomplete is used
I'm using Excel (2002) to transcribe baptism, marriage and burial records.
The autocomplete facility is useful to save keystrokes but if I don't pay very close attention can sometimes cause me to enter incorrect information. Is there a way for Excel to generate a sound whenever the autocomplete facility suggests an entry? That way I will be prompted to look more closely at the entry. Thanks, Bill |

Ken,
Thanks for the suggestion. It's not what (I thought) I was looking for but it does seem to solve my problem! Hi Bill,
I know you only want to be warned when autocomplete acts, but I don't know how that could be achieved. I guess it doesn't hurt to have all you entries checked. Ken Johnson |
