Relative References to other sheets
I have two sheets, lets call them SH1 & SH2. In SH2 I have a reference to a
cell in SH1 and lets say it is SH1!G4 ... Now I decide to sort the data in SH1 and the data that was in SH1!G4 is now in SH1!G10, but my reference in SH2 returns the data that is in SH1!G4 and not SH1!G10 as I would expect. This behaviour is as if I am using absolute references when I am intending to use relative references.. How do I fix this?? |
Relative References to other sheets
Excel does not change the reference to cells on the same sheet when sorting
occurs.Maybe you need to use VLOOKUP happy new year -- Bernard V Liengme www.stfx.ca/people/bliengme remove caps from email "stevevalwa" wrote in message ...
