There are commercial products that will crack the passwords. I use ExcelKey
and VBAKey from Passware. About $40 each from http://www.lostpassword.com/

I don't know if I'm allowed to do this under the rules of this forum so no
doubt I will be advised by more experienced posters if this isn't allowed.

If you post again with an email I will contact you by email and you can send
me the workbook and I will open it for you free of charge provided you can
prove ownership by telling me what's in it. Of course if the information
within it is sensitive you may not want to do this.
