After editing data cells in a large workbook, formulas (linked to the
data cells) have become "inactive". Clicking on a cell containing an "inactive" formula, then clicking in the formula bar & hitting enter will "activate" the formula. Any suggestions as how to accomplish the "activation" of all the formulas in the workbook without having to address each formula individaully would be greatly appreciated! (Any suggestions as to what might have caused this problem would also be appreciated. It's not happened before when updating the data cells.) |

Hi
Try selecting all your cells and doing a Find/Replace (Ctrl+H) Finding What: = and Replacing with: = (this is basically editing and pressing return on each cell). Hope this helps! Maybe your calculation mode is set to Manual?
Does hitting F9 cause a re-calc of all formulas? Change to automatic at ToolsOptionsCalculation.
