I used to have a drop down next to my autosum icon that let you choose from
sum ,average... so you did not need to use the insert function feature. It is gone - any idea how to get it back? |

Are you using an earlier version of Excel than you were before? The
dropdown was added in Excel 2002. If you're using Excel 2002 or later version, you could reset the toolbar: Choose ToolsCustomize On the Toolbars tab, select Standard Click the Reset button Click OK to reset. Close the Customize dialog box Patricia wrote: I used to have a drop down next to my autosum icon that let you choose from sum ,average... so you did not need to use the insert function feature. This was added in xl2002.
So if you're using multiple versions (home and work), you may not have it in both locations.
