I am trying to sort information in excel. Here is an example:
Name Date of Hire Race Sex I want to sort by date of hire in an ascending order and make the other information move with the date as it changes. What do I do? |

The trick is to select ALL the columns you want sorted. Then when you
pull-down sort, make sure header is checked and tell the Wizard to sort by Hire Date. -- Gary's Student " wrote: I am trying to sort information in excel. Just make sure you select all columns before DataSort on Date of Hire column.

It does not bring the other fields with the change. Maybe I did not
make it clear in the posting. When it orders the date of hire i need the info. in the other columns to move with the correct date.
