Help with Formula
I am trying to find an easy way to to calculate my Electric bill, my
problem is that there are three tiers of pricing. Example the 1st 500 kwh are billed at 10 cents, 501 - 1000 kwh are billed at 8 cents, and then anything over 1000 is billed at 6 cents. I have my total usage in A2 but would like to break down the total cast by the three tiers, in B2,C2 and D2. Any suggestions??? Thanks |
Help with Formula
=IF(A2<501,B2,IF(A2<1001,C2,D2))

Help with Formula
=MIN(A1,500)*0.1+MIN(MAX(0,A1-500),500)*0.08+MAX(0,A1-1000)*0.06
