Your calculation is set to manual (Tools/Options/Calculate). Press F9 to

Thanks for the response but I already checked that & determined that
Automatic is selected. The only other thing was whether Iterate should be checked but I don't think that should matter unless I am trying to limit the number of iterations so Iterate is left unselected which I think is the default.
