Strange message when Excel starts.

Hi all,

a friend encounters a strange problem. Every time he starts Excel he
gets the following error message:

"compile error in hidden module: AutoExecNew"

Anybody has got any idea how did he come up with this hidden module?
The module name suggests that it is something like an auto start file
but why the compile error? Could it be a virus?

TIA

Strange message when Excel starts.

Take a look he

http://support.microsoft.com/default...;EN-US;q307410
OFF: "Compile Error in Hidden Module" Error Message When You Start
Word or Excel

It points at PDFMaker.xla as being the culprit.

If you move/delete that addin, you should be ok.
