Lost "Relative Reference" button in Excel
I was recording a simple macros and closed a small menu that appeared
automatically. It contained the "relative reference". How can I get that toolbox back. I tried to add the button back in by customizing my toolbar, but it's not working. I haven't been able to record a macro since because I can't mark a cell as the relative reference or beginning for the macro. Please help!!! -- LL |
Lost "Relative Reference" button in Excel
Select Tools - Customize - Toolbars Tab - Stop Recording (Check) - Close
The toolbar will appear. You can just close it with the x... Next time you record something it will appear. I you Choose the x instead of the Square to Stop Recording then the toolbar will disappear again (so don't do that)... -- HTH...
