Default x-axis label placement

i have a chart with Negative y values... the x-axis lables are being placed
at the point where the x-axis meets the 0 values on the y-axis NOT where the
x-axis meets the lowest negative value on the y-axis... so basically the
x-axis lables are being placed over the chart as opposed to at the bottom...
how do I fix it!

Default x-axis label placement

Will -

Double click on the labels, click on the Patterns tab, and where it says
Tick Mark Labels, choose Low rather than Next to Axis.
