i want default as Zero in date format cell
 

if i fill date in 1 cell (cell is in date Format of mm-mon-yyyy) then i get
date
but if i live it blank it gives 00-jan-00. i want it to display as zero
can u please help me

If the cell is truly blank, it will display as blank.
If it has a value of 0, it will display as you suggest. In this case it may
be possible to create a custom format to display as 0, but you can easily
make it appear as blank. Go to ToolsOptionsView tab and deselect the Zero
values checkbox.
