delimited copy and paste

When I import data into excel from a text file, it gives me the choice
of delimiting the data into columns any way I want. But when I copy
text from a screen and paste it into excel I can't figure out how to
delimit the columns the way I want.

Can someone help please ?

Thanks.

Excel likes to remember the rules from the last parsing you did. But if your
data goes into a single column, you can select that column and do:

Data|Text to columns

The wizard will look very familiar.

Thanks. Its a great help not to have to save the data to a text file
before importing into excel.
