How do I format multiple Excel worksheets simultaneously? I want to format
the first worksheet and have those format settings applied to all worksheets
in the workbook.

Hold the CTRL key and select all the worksheet tabs to which you want to
apply the formatting. This groups the sheets. Apply your formatting.

Then when you are done, right-click on one of the tabs and select ungroup
sheets.

Select first sheet then right-click on sheet tab and "Select all sheets"

Do the formatting on active sheet and will be done to all.

DO NOT FORGET to right-click and "ungroup sheets" when your formatting operation
is done.
