Adobe Modifies Excel

After copying and pasting a document from Adobe Reader 7.0 into Excel 2003
and using the Data Text-to-Columns function (delimited, spaces), every time
thereafter that I ONLY copy and paste the same document, it is pasted AND
Text-to-Columns delimited! I have to close Excel and reopen to get Excel
back to normal. Any insight would be appreciated.
