Formatting numbers in excel pivot

Hi

I create pivots many times and have problem in formatting number column.
Everytime I change contents of pivot table, the number column returns to
general state, from "coma" format.

Can I save / set the format once for all ? so with whatever changes in pivot
columns the number format can remain constant?

Please help
Thanks in Advance

Shanks, Formatting is a problem that can be solved by code.
I reccomend you read the questions section of this discussion group, and the
problems involved in coding color and other formatting choices. Enter: Pivot
Chart Formatting in the search for "General Questions" Faq's

Formatting numbers in excel pivot

Hi

Double click on the relevant data field and choose NumberFormat from
there, rather than formatting the cells where the PT is displayed
