filling cells
When you drag a range of cells, Excel tries to figure out what the interval
is betwen them to add. So if you type Jan, Mar - then drag them, you get all the odd numbered months. if you type 1 and 2, then drag them, it will increase by 1. "art" wrote: I relized that when I write in cell A1 "1", A2 "3", A3 "6". And then I drag down to fill more cells it starts going like, 8.33 10.83, and so on. why does that happen. why can't it understand that I want to increase the numbe by 1? |
