filling cells
so why when I write in one cell 1 and in the next cell 3 and then 6 and then
10, so it should go in an increasment from one ore number each time and then I drag down it doesn't to that? "widman" wrote: When you drag a range of cells, Excel tries to figure out what the interval is betwen them to add. So if you type Jan, Mar - then drag them, you get all the odd numbered months. if you type 1 and 2, then drag them, it will increase by 1. And then I drag down to fill more cells it starts going like, 8.33 10.83, and so on. why does that happen. why can't it understand that I want to increase the numbe by 1? |
