How do I display embedded pictures in Excel as icons?

I have a lot of pictures to place in a spreadsheet and would like to have
them displayed initially as icons. I could then come back and display each
picture individually when needed. This would avoid the clutter of having all
of the pictures displayed and overlapping at the same time. Is this
possible? If so, how is this done?

Bitmaps can be displayed as a Icon. InsertObject

Alternate...........see JE McGimpsey's site for a method of showing hidden
pictures based upon a value in a cell.

Hi,

You can insert a comment and in the comment box insert the picture. Hide
the comment and when you move your cursor into the cell, the picture will be
displayed.
