How to link a list or range of cells to another sheet in same workbook
Hello newsgroup,
I have an excel spreadsheet where I would like to have a list (or range) of cells that contain names. this list can be changed, either items added or deleted (i do not about cascading deletes, etc). Is there a way I can link the cells to another worksheet in same book? Or perhaps a different book? I do this with formulas and data, but not with a list of names. If i add a name to my "master" sheet, (like entering data into a database, and then queryinging, etc) I would like that name to be added to a subsequent worksheet in the same book. I have linked a list, and a range (sort of) but if there are any empty cells the display the "NAME" error flag in cell. I want to not see the "NAME" error in a cell that links to the master sheet. thanks, eholz1 |
