In Excell 2002-Format cells so last 2 digits go to rite of decimal

Just like an adding machine, how can I format the cells so that the last 2
numbers I punch automatically show to the right of the decimal [i.e. 1234
entered shows as 12.34] without having to hit the decimal key?? Thanks for
any help.

If you want it to be like an adding machine, then you don't want to use Format.

Instead, select Tools/Options/Edit
Fixed Decimals
Places: 2
