Default Long Text Entry

I have a long text entry for a cell and while it accepts it in the data entry
area, it does not display all of it in the cell in the spreadsheet. Why is
this?

Hi
the limit is 1024 characters. If you want to display more enter some
manual linebreaks with aLT+ENTER
