How to unlock date format in excel
Hi Ron
If the number you are entering is a fraction, which could have a valid interpretation as a date, then Excel will try to be "helpful" and convert it for you e.g. 1/4 will 01 Apr 2006 but 15/16 will not be converted. Either prefix your entry with a single quote, or pre-format the cell as Text. -- Regards Roger Govier "ron" wrote in message ... All times are GMT +1. The time now is 07:19 PM. |
