I have a worksheet which I need to alphabetize according to the name that is
in the first column. However the cells in the whole row all contain information about the last name in the first columns, so they need to be moved according to how the first column is alphabetized. Have I made my question clear? Is there any way to do this automatically on Excel? |

Select your total data range, from A1 to wherever, eg T500. Click on Data
Sort. If you have headings in row 1, make sure that Header row is ticked, else select no header row. If no header row, select to sort by column A, else select to sort by header row of column A, OK out.
