Using ctrl+A
I am trying to highlight all of the information in my speadsheet using
ctrl+A. When I press ctrl+a, howeveer, only a portion of my data is highlighted. What can I do to make this function work the way it's supposed to? |
Using ctrl+A
It is a toggle. You hit it once and it will select the Current Region. Hit
it again and the entire sheet will be selected (the cells). HTH -- Regards, Zack Barresse, aka firefytr "guyd" wrote in message ... Using ctrl+A
Hi guyd
This is a stupid change in 2003 It will select the current region the first time and the second time the whole sheet. (We already hade the shortcut Ctrl-* to select the current region) In Excel 2007 it is possible that you must use it three times Best is to click on the space above the first row header and on the left of the first column header. I did as you suggested: ctrl+A once and then ctrl+A a second time. The
highlighted area stayed the same. "Zack Barresse" wrote: It is a toggle. You hit it once and it will select the Current Region. Hit it again and the entire sheet will be selected (the cells). That acts as the same shortcut key combination. Weird, I know.
