No scroll bars in program
All,
I may be barking up the wrong tree here, but in Excel, I get the scroll bars in my worksheet, no problem. However, some times, when I open a worksheet, it's size is bigger than the workspace in excel. So that some of the worksheet extends beyond the "readable" area of the space. In this case, following Windows logic, there should be scroll bars to control the entire workspace of excel, yet I am unable to enable this. My only recourse is to resize the worksheet window to fit in the workspace. Not really what I want to do. Any suggestions? thanks Mike |

Are the scroll bars turned off, perhaps? ToolsOptionsView and check the
boxes for vertical and horizontal scoll bars. "mike" wrote: All, I may be barking up the wrong tree here, but in Excel, I get the scroll bars in my worksheet, no problem. The problem is that the option for toolbars in that section strictly controls
the tool bars within the worksheet and not the workspace. I need a way to turn on the scroll bars in the work space. Thanks Mike "bigwheel" wrote: Are the scroll bars turned off, perhaps? [quote=mike;406398]All,
Was there ever a solution posted to this problem. I have the same problem. That is, the horizontal scroll bar is gone and despite following the Help directions precisely I cannot get it back even though I've checked "show horizontal scroll bar". Would appreciate some help. |
