Default making a chart

First question
How do I change the numbers on the bottom side of the chart?
I think what you want is a trend line?
First you will need to create a pivot table to summarize your data
At the wizard (Steps 1--3
Step 1 Click Data--Pivot Table and Pivot chart report
The wizard will at step 2 select the entire table you have created
Step 3 click layout button
Now you drag the parts and pieces of your table to create where you want
what information
Area's are Page--Row--Data--Column and at the right is your table headrs
and row information to rearange as you desire.
You will need to play with this a while to get the hang of it.
Now the Trind line.
After you have created your chart Right click on the line and add Trendline
on the short cut menu
You should be able to play with the options from there.
Good luck, I hope this gets you on your way.
If you have more questions please post you questions.

Hello,

First to let you all know, I am a big novice at this kind of stuff, so
please bear with me.

What I am trying to do is make a trendchart with 9 different plots on it.
How do I change the numbers on the side and bottom of the chart to read what
I need them to? I take these tests 3 times a week and would like to chart all
of them seperately and also together to chart progress for a whole month.
One for each day, and then one for the month. Then I would like to do the
same for the following months of the year. And I would like to have one chart
to show the progress for the whole year. I am putting my 9 plots for the
first test in column A, then next 9 in column B, so on and so forth.

I hope that this is enough, like I said, I really don't know what I am
talking about.

Thank for any help in advance.
