Refresh with Advance Filter Applied
Is it possible to set Excel to update a datasheet with an Advanced Filter
applied? I have a summary worksheet that combines totals from 12 monthly worksheets. A chart displays the data from the summary worksheet. The individual and summary worksheets contain mandatory tracking criteria, but in most cases only a few of the criteria are actually used in any individual workbook. To prevent the chart that displays the data from displaying all the criteria I have created an Advanced Filter that eliminates the criteria for which no occurances have been entered. The problem is that once the filter is set, if a new criterion is used it does not appear in the summary sheet until the filter is removed. I then have to manually reapply the filter to eliminate unwanted/unused criteria from the chart. |
