Enter key misbehavior
When I press <Enter the cursor does not go to the beginning of the next
line. I am running Excel 2002 on this machine. All other machines with Excel (Office XP or Office XP Pro) work fine ... when pressing enter it goes to the next line and the beginning of the line (if I used <Tab or shift-Tab to move across cells). How can I make this one work? (Tools--Options--Edit--Move selection after Enter does not work. It only allows moving one cell Down, Right, Up or Left.) |
Enter key misbehavior
You don't say what it actually does do when you press Enter. If Tools -
Options - Edit tab - "Move selection after Enter" isn't set, it'll just sit still when you press Enter. Could that be it? If not, try the usual fixes for a sick Excel. try the stuff at "Excel acts generally goofy" at http://www.smokeylake.com/excel/vfaq.htm. -- Earl Kiosterud www.smokeylake.com ----------------------------------------------------------------------- "dredrunde" wrote in message ...
