sum problem
 

when i used the =sum() formula in a cell. a cell display =sum( ) total does
not show. why pls help.

Do other formulas work elsewhere on the page? If so, likely the cell was
pre-formatted to contain text. If everywhere formulas display instead of
results, then look in Tools|Options; likely Excel has been set to display
formulas.
