How to sort and filter when there are images invloved
I was wondering if there was some way to sort and filter columns when
there are images involved. When I paste images in spreadsheets, they sit above the cell. Is there a way to have the image attached to the cell? |

Nope... To the best of my knowledge this is not going to work out for you...

You could add a comment to the cell and put the picture in that comment.
Debra Dalgleish has some notes: http://www.contextures.com/xlcomments02.html#Picture And if you do change those settings (move and size with cells), then if you're very careful to put the picture within the borders of the cell (still floating above the cell), then it should work ok (include that column in the sort, too). wrote: I was wondering if there was some way to sort and filter columns when there are images involved. I think I have misinterpreted "sit above the cell", I took that to mean, for example, picture name in A2 then picture in A1. I'm probably wrong there. You more than likely mean the picture is above the cell in the Z direction. Ken Johnson |
