2007 Beta TR calculation error / bug
Hello,
I am using Excel 2007 Beta (12.0.4407.1004) MSO (12.0.4407.1005) and having a calculation error that is not present when I open the same file in Excel 2003. I am getting the NUM error in sum and subtotal formulas that will move from cell to cell as I recalculate the sheet. This happens even when none of the cells referenced in the formula have errors or other problems themselves. I can open the same file in Excel 2003 and not be able to reproduce the error. This file relies on the use of circular references and the iterations settings are identical in my installs of both 2007 and 2003. Any thoughts or suggestions? I like some of the new features, but if this problem persists through the retail version, I will request that my IT department not upgrade my group's machines. Terry |

It's a beta version of the software; by definition, beta versions are not
ready for wide release. -- Brevity is the soul of wit.
