Disable Close all Windows
I often have many Excel workbooks open and when I'm working quickly, I
usually hit the red X when I just want to close one (out of habit). This closes all the workbooks, and while I am fortunately reminded when the save prompt comes up, it is still very annoying. Is there any way to disable this feature so that it only closes the active workbook? |
Disable Close all Windows
You could simply click the "X" *UNDER* the red X to close the active WB.
However, what I have done for myself, is place the "close" icon on the left side of my toolbar. It becomes second nature after a while, to go LEFT to "close" and go RIGHT to "exit" XL. -- HTH, RD ================================================== === Please keep all correspondence within the Group, so all may benefit! ================================================== === "rjvega" wrote in message ...
