Sometimes, when I open up an Excel file, a message states that it is a
read-only file causing me to have to rename it if I save data.

Why is this happening???

Thank you,

Try to clean your Temp folder and see if this helps

Reboot
StartRun
Type "%temp%" without the quotes
OK
Delete all files and folders in this folder
Reboot again
