How to install statistics add-in in Excel?

I have the SR-1 disk that the pop up asks for. It tells me I need some other
file. I find the file but the program will not use it to install the add-in.

I hope this makes sense.

Your description does not make sense to me.

What version of Excel are you using?

What is the name of the statistics add-in? Is it the Analysis ToolPak that
can be installed from the Office/Excel CD, or is it an add-in supplied by
another software vendor?

What keystrokes or mouse clicks cause the pop-up to appear?

Specifically, what is the name of the file that the pop-up asks for?

Where do you find the file? Is it already on your hard drive, or is it on an
installation CD? If it's on an installation CD, what is the name of that CD?

Maybe OP is looking for the Data Analysis Plus add-in.

From a posting by Mike Middleton...............................

Data Analysis Plus" is an add-in for Excel that has some features beyond
those included in Excel's Analysis ToolPak.

"Data Analysis Plus" is distributed on the CD included with some textbooks.

For example, the book Statistics for Management and Economics (6th edition)
by Keller and Warrack includes "Data Analysis Plus."

I am not aware of a web site where you can download the software.

End Mike posting........................................... ...
